Is it wrong to get your Valentine's flowers from the cemetery?
my girlfriend loved them... and I didn't feel the least bit bad at first, "What'll they care, they're dead," I figured, but now I'm starting to have second thoughts.

Did I do bad?

2. Are you kidding?
I drove past a cemetary on the way home from work today and saw a woman put single rose next to a headstone and felt so bad for her.

okay yeah, I wouldnt sink that low, but I might do it before I flocked my way to halmark or zales to capitulate to the crass abomination this holiday is by shoveling hard-earned dollars down its greedy maw.

Actually, I drew her a pretty little card

4. You're forgiven, because you didn't spell it "cemetary." As about 75%
of the people out there seem to these days.

6. Only if you rip off the plastic ones...
Believe me, you curry no favors with the fake ones. Really fresh flowers can also be bagged at a funeral - check your local paper for time and location.

7. There is nothing at all wrong with it
providing that your date is likewise deceased.

I read it in Miss Manners.
