And BTW, which traslation...

Ask them how many of flock know that the bible was put together on the order of a roman emperor who only embraced Christianity in order to attain power (Sounds familiar, don;t it...)

And ask them what translation... And what about the missing Gospels, was it Constantine who decided which prophet was really hearing the word of god...

I am gonna have a ball...

Tell him your female spiritual advisor recommends the NRSV translation of the Bible as the most historically accurate; and Eugene Peterson's "The Message" as the best for theological interpretation. Chances are, he'll never be able to get past the "female" part! :evilgrin:
