Beer factor.
What's the dumbest thing you've ever done while drunk?
I've never shot anyone, that's for sure!

1. swam across a large pond
I was at a party. I saw some sober people doing it and after the sun went down I tried it myself. I had no idea if I could make it or what I would do if I couldn't. I was going through a rather dark phase. Is that too much information?

3. Started a bon fire with about a ton of scrapwood and diesel fuel
We were cleearing out a forest on my brother's lot. The fire was freaking huge. It actually melted the side of his travel trailer parked about 30 yards away.

15. OK, reported my car as stolen.
Came out of the bar, three sheets to the wind.
No car in the parking lot.
Went back in and called my wife.
"Somebody stole my car. Come get me."
Called the police station.
"I'm at Martinetti's and my car's been stolen."
They'd dispatch a cruiser in the area.

The officers arrived about the same time my wife did.
I described the car to them.
Did I know the license plate number?
"No, but I can look it up at home."
"Sir, I have to say it's really a good thing you don't have your car. You're in no condition to drive."
miz t. rolls eyes and says "Amen."

We walk out to go home.
A cop comes walking out from around the side of the building.
"That was a red Karmann Ghia convertible?"
"YES! Did you find it?"
"Yessir. It's there on the other side of the dumpster. Maybe you should pick it up in the morning."

That was waaayyy back in my younger, wilder days.
