i can't handle the suffering that the Abu- Garib photos give us a brief glimpse of....
i believe that it is essential that we face the ugliness,
not 'looking' or denying doesn't make it not have happened, or stop it from continuing to happen.
i'm in a 'bad head place' right now- apart from these photos.

How can they not get that what we can't even face in pictures, others are living through, or not living through? Yes, I will cry. I will look and I will remember. 5. Just remember that

we didn't do those things. Some very sick and sadistic people did these things. And they did them with the knowledge of our right wing government. I firmly believe that we reap what we sow. Those who were harmed will be rewarded somehow--perhaps through the love and care their friends and family will shower upon them. And, those who did this will pay through jail time, the contempt most Americans feel for them, and the fact that the government who turned a blind eye have betrayed them.

They have shamed our country and I'm hoping that Democrats, who don't usually vote, will start so that we can get a government back in office who will correct these wrongs and put us all back on the right track.
