That's it. I'm not cooking anymore. There's too much here already. |
|
In my fridge, I have leftover: * Turkey chili • Brown rice • Orange chicken • Mushroom risotto • Vegan Chapchae (Korean noodles) • Meatloaf and mashed potatoes and ginger carrots that I'm sure have congealed together by now (restaurant)
I officially have more leftovers than anything else (except condiments).
Tonight, I think I will put these in individual portions and freeze what we don't eat.
This is ridiculous.

1. I know exactly what you mean |
|
I am struggling to keep up with the leftovers too. That's my main reason for not eating lunch out.

2. It's insane, and worse this week because we cooked for v-day, and then |
|
again yesterday for company...
Things should abate a little once we're officially moved in together, but I'm not holding my breath...

4. I love leftovers - I always eat them for lunch the next day. |
|
So I never go out to lunch. Well, unless there is a group thing or something.
I don't know how these people who go out every day do it.

5. We would be broke. MrG sometimes gets something from the truck |
|
that comes around at lunchtime, but I frown on this...a couple of times I noticed expiration dates well past due on wrappers in his truck. I have made lunch for him everyday, that I haven't been in the hospital, since our wedding day. I tried to figure out how many that was once...It comes up to 3,000 give or take 100. :hi:

8. I bring them on occasion, and my SO will pack a lunch frequently... |
|
We're still buried here. Seriously. I OD'd on cooking this past week, and the chili recipe made gallons. (The recipe said "serves 8." 8 linebackers, possibly.)
