smells absolutely great. A lot of those coffees like Maxwell House and Folgers suck, but before scooping it out of the can it smells fantastic.

Oil paints (one can discern the pigment vs. filler load by smelling, really!), solvents (some smell good but can kill you over the long-term, and some stink but are less toxic), Silly Putty, handmade paper, the top of our kitty's neck, the side of Call Me Wesley's neck (*faint* and he doesn't shave or wear cologne), my mother's hair when I hug her, hardware stores (*swoon*), essential oils, the air during and after a thunderstorm, books (old AND new), our herb garden at the end of August . . .

Whenever I'm in one of those cutesy "country" stores, I have to smell them all.
When I'm in the grocery store, however, I can't STAND the aisle with all the air fresheners, candles and laundry detergents. It makes me sneeze. :shrug:

There's nothing silly about it.. People who have lost a loved one, often keep their clothing, pillows, etc BECAUSE they can still smell them on it..
Humans have lost most of our sense of smell over time, but there's still enough left to connect subconsciously with that part of it:)..We just don;t realize we are usinig it :)
