We moved from Milwaukee to Cleveland on June 1st of '05. Then 2 weeks later, hedges got Lyme Disease. Then he couldn't find work. Then we had to spend assloads of money re-wiring our house, plus had some walls knocked down, which depleted our savings. Then he got a job in Nov. Then his job turned out to suck.

NOW, his old job in Milwaukee wants him back. He has a procedural phone interview this afternoon. He's at work now so he asked me to do this...he's very stressed even though by all indications it's a done deal, it's just a matter of when. As soon as possible would be nice due to financial issues. :)

I love Cleveland. I've had more fun than I can say hanging out with and getting to know my fellow Cleveland DUers. I'm going to be terribly sad to leave. But it seems that for the stability and well-being of our family this is the right move. Plus, I also love Milwaukee and being an hour and a half from Chicago is total gravy. :D

So, good stuffs for hedges re: the job thing and for me re: the Tale of Two Cities would be greatly appreciated. :hi:

SHe's in the way-advanced stages of it (mental deterioration, muscles unable to move, etc.) and is not doing well either. She got diagnosed about seven years after she contracted it.

I'm really sorry for you guys. I wish I had known hedges had Lyme Disease. We coulda commisserated. I coulda given him my mom's phone number.
