Fistfight over how to wear cap cited in man's death
Fistfight over cap cited in Adamsville man's death
Thursday, February 16, 2006
CAROL ROBINSON
Birmingham News staff writer

An Adamsville man found dead in his front yard last week lost his life following an argument over a baseball cap.

Jefferson County sheriff's deputies on Wednesday arrested Justin Hogan, 18, of Graysville on a charge of manslaughter in the beating death of 20-year-old John Howard Hill. Hogan was taken into custody about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday in Dora. He was awaiting transfer to the county jail.

Hill's father, Wesley Hill, told police his son was in the house with friends when the father went to bed shortly after 9 p.m., Feb. 8. He awoke around 5 a.m. the next day and found the front door open and his son dead in the front yard.

Authorities said Hogan and Hill got into a fight that ended in the front yard. Hill was still alive when Hogan left, authorities said, but died a short time later.

"This started as a silly argument over how a baseball cap was being worn and escalated into a fistfight where both were willing participants," said sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Randy Christian.

OK, folks.
Bill in front or bill in back?
Or at some other weird angle?
Your life may depend on it.

5. Not the death but this baseball cap thing is hilarious
First off I thought that wearing a cap back wards ended 20 years ago. I mean as a unique or interesting way to wear it but not wearing it for show just wearing it.

Anyway I see guys with the caps on and to be unique and different they all wear them the same "off" way. They are all "different" in exactly the same way. :eyes:

I have watched guys at a stoplight actually carefully adjusting their hats so as to be like this. That is hilarious to me.

Lastly, break the bill you idiots. Wearing a hat with a straight bill is so unbelievably goofy looking it is beyond words.
