Bass guitar in Hawaii.

As a then somewhat decent guitarist, I just sorta stood there with my mouth open while everyone around me moshed.

9. Nice touch!
BTW is that "Gold" by John Stewart? I love that song! I actually hunted down a CD copy of "Bombs Away Dream Babies" on eBay awhile back. Good stuff.

And I'd love to hear that acoustic version of "Rent". My own band plays an acoustic rumba/flamenco version of "Respect" by Erasure, so it could be done...

11. Not John Stewart...Spandau Ballet. As for the acoustic "Rent"...
You can hear it on one of their live DVDs. I forget which one, but I believe it was filmed in the late 90s.

10. Heh heh - 4’ 33” (John Cage – Vibe Tribe Extended Mix)
Truth is, though, I wouldn't surprised if some "trance music" meth-head or a rap sampler thought he could do a "remix" of that one.

12. You had me going with the "Asia Set"....

Being from the Philly area, this did not seem so far fetched. SOme in the Philly area can't let go of the progressive rock stuff. DOn't get me wrong, I sometimes need a good Yes, ELP or King Crimson fix, but I think it should be in moderation. :D

I won't be around this weekend, but maybe I'll catch you another time.
