1. Congrats on that!!

That is quite an achievement.

However, I think it's a fairly misleading notion. I'm sure no one would argue that obtaining a 3.5+ GPA at an Ivy League or similar school is the same as obtaining an equivalent GPA elsewhere. Not to rain on anyone's parade, but making the Harvard, Yale, etc. comparison is a bit far fetched.

I was very careful not to bash!!

It's still a great accomplishment one way or another. It's just kind of an apples and oranges comparison is all I'm saying. I went to American University, and I don't pretend my GPA was as hard to obtain as someone who got the same grades at Harvard, ya know?

Personally, I fall more into the "hunker down you hairy dawgs" category for the 1-A schools, although I went to a 1-AA school.
