8. a good friend of mine lives in Montana, their high tomorrow is

supposed to be -5F. SHEEE-IT that doesn't sound good! All you upper midwest states are getting whacked with freezing air.

Seems appropriate to build a nice fire, make some hot toddies and not go outside for a week or so...
