The only true olympic sport....Curling.
I have actually gotten hooked on watching this. So much so, that I actually looked up the rules, and how it is played right here.

And the USA mens team is doing awfully well....

The GB womens' team is doing quite well also. :)

2. The Japanese womens team was doing good also.
I lived in Tokyo for a couple of years, so I have a soft spot for the Japanese teams

In baseball, the home plate ump uses a broom to keep home plate clean.

5. We only got one TV channel when I was a kid, and they used to show
curling now and again...how can you not like a sport whose equipment includes brooms?

10. Alaska has a curler on the Olympic team this year!!
Curling is fun, but it is definitely athletic. The stones are HEAVY.

I'm kinda proud this year, Alaska sent 11 athletes to the games. Not bad for a state with less than 900,000 people in it!!
