Most zombie movies are the same to me. Though I suppose the same can be said for vampire movies. Meh.

6. I was brought up on Hammer Horror Films in the 60s&70s

Christopher Lee is still a better Dracula then Bela Lugosi or Gary Oldman. IMO Peter Cushing is still a camper Frankenstein than Colin Clive or Gene Wilder.

Thanks to Hammer Horror films I know what to do on meeting a Vampire. Don't look in his eyes and make a cross from a pair of candlesticks to ward him off. Sidle across to the heavy curtains then rip them down and watch as the vampire dissolves into a pile of dust.

8. Vampires, definitely

They aren't always sexy, and they can be pretty creepy but they're not nearly as disturbing as something with half its flesh eaten away coming at you.

They are just plain funny.
Shaun of the Dead is hillarious.
I can't remember the name of the one of the zombies in the mall but that one rocks.
