Last night, I went to GD and was
called a feminist (quite the compliment, thank you).

Tonight...I'm Fred Phelps.

Please, my friends, remind me to stick to The Lounge, okay?

11. In inches, yes. In importance, hell no.
I can move big things, but a breastfeeding woman, a mother, is creating big things, and I, and all men, will be forever overshadowed by that, and rightfully so.

to imply that putting milk in coffee was "contaminating" it. A boss of mine used that expression once and for some reason I thought it was really funny--I wouldn't actually get worked up over what you put in your coffee (the coffee you don't drink that is ;))

I just wanted to ignore the main line of silliness and branch out, broaden it up a little.

28. I, for one respect your views
If the vegan life is for you, go for it.
I, on the other hand, love a thick, juicy steak.

I also love to hunt deer and game birds
(wild ones that may well outsmart me).
Any creature I kill, I eat.
I'm a very good shot with both a rifle
and a shotgun. I WILL NOT pull the trigger
if there's ANY doubt it'll be a clean kill
with no suffering by the animal.

Nature is much less considerate.
For instance, a deer reaches the ripe old
age of 10. By then, it's unable to escape
it's natural predators. Said animal is literally
ripped to pieces, while still alive, by, say,
a panther or pack of wolves.

34. And I respect yours. However, in response to your post...
so?

"I love...a steak"
"I love to hunt deer (btw, it's not hunting, it's shooting and killing)"
I I I I I I I I I I I I

Do we see a pattern?

Nature is less considerate in many instances, but man is even less so in many more.

I do appreciate and respect that you regard the life that you take with reverance. I also understand your point, and I hope you understand mine.

Try hunting deer with a Nikon instead of a 30.06
The technique is the same. A REAL hunter outsmarts
his quarry, whether the "weapon" is a camera or a rifle.

We can disagree without being disagreeable.

39. Indeed.
I agree. A hunter does just that. I find that there are very few "hunters" these days, though.

And yes, we can disagree, but we can also be disagreeable about some topics. So long as we meet on the same page on other things, considering where we're discussing those topics, we have no problems, right? I mean, we're not talking on www.antihuntingunderground.com so, the way I see it, so long as we see (at least close to) eye to eye politically, we're kin here.

Am/are I/we right?
