Remember the car I was telling you about yesterday, which I wanted to purchase but a snag with the credit reporting agencies came up? Well, I went back to the dealership yesterday morning and got everything worked out...soooo...the car is now MINE and it's sitting right outside right now! :woohoo: I'm so excited, and it is SO nice! Here's a picture from Nissan's website of the car I got:

I did not have time to take any pictures of me with it yesterday, so I'll do that today and will have those pictures to post in the morning! Be sure you're here for THAT! :rofl:

... I once lived in a small town in SW Missouri... more than 30 years ago, and only for a few weeks... I was manager of a rock power trio consisting of an awesome guitarist and a couple of "adequate" locals on bass and drums, both of whom were possessed of more ego than talent... it was a strange experience, and frankly, I never had a comfortable night's sleep, as I constantly woke hearing the sounds of the local farmers either milling about planning to cut my hair (it was just shy of waist length at the time) with a farm scythe, or simply torch us all and let Hephaestos sort out the demons from the devils (playing that devil's music, doncha know!)

I was actually relieved when the locals signed a lethal contract (over my STRONG objections... while I was out of town booking bands for what was supposed to be our first big gig!) and the band disintegrated, because it meant I got the hell out with hair still attached and body unscorched!

May you have better experiences than I did!

Last summer when gas prices were out of control, I was up at Casey's filling up, and these two guys were inside arguing over the high prices of gas. They were both adamant, that the fucking niggers, and spics were the cause of it all, it they hadn't moved to the USA, their would be more gas for the white folk....

My first summer here in 2003, my wife and I were driving up to Joplin. There was this beat up dodge truck ahead of us, and they were going super slow in the fast lane, they finally get over to the right lane, and my wife goes to pass, and i'm sitting there waiting to give the people in the truck the courtesy middle finger...but, i see the line of stickers on the back window of the truck...a borderline of swastikas, and in the middle of the back window, White Pride...and i'm sitting there, oh my god, i kept my finger silent that day. I never in my life thought, I would see something like that.

A year ago, my wife and I were at Town and Country in Anderson Missouri. My wife and I are native american, and these old white man, suspenders, boots, started chewing my wife out for being a fucking illegal alien, that his words "What the fuck are you doing here you fucking illegal alien." My wife told the old man, the she was cherokee indian, and i told the idiot i was haida from SE Alaska...he muttered something, i couldnt' understand, and he walked off...

These are just some of the things, that i have experienced in good old SW Missouri. Bible belt, very red here, and very ignorant, and hateful....come visit, why don't ya?...:) Just kidding.

Thank you, thank you! I'm VERY happy! I was a nervous wreck for a while. Once we got everything signed and I walked out of the finance managers office, there were like 25 people (the whole dealership staff including the owner) standing outside the door, and the Sales Manager spoke up and said: I'd like you all to meet Clint! He just bought a 2006 Sentra! When he said that...the while dealership erupted in applause and yells! It was fastastic! I've never had someone cheer for me for buying a car like that! :woohoo: I loved it!

is not fun, especially with this amount of snow. And it's heavy to boot! I only did the walkway from my front door to the street. Hoping a neighbor will be kind enough to do the sidewalk. After the snowplows, the snow on the sidewalk is up to my waist. Ugh!
