3. Not really a fan..... so I root for Jeff Gordon

Other than that I don't care.

Last year (I think it was) I announced with about 10 laps left that Gordon was going to win. This is a Tony Stewart (the number 20 car) and Jr. house....they really didn't like it when Gordon DID win.

4. I always kinda liked Stewart.

He's won in a lot of other driving disciplines, meaning he can turn right too. :D But, I'm not what anyone would call a fan. I might check it out from time to time.

I found some respect for Dale, Jr. when he encouraged his crew to go see Fahrenheit 9/11.

you have to appreciate that especially in the corporate world that NASCAR has become.

STewart was on LEtterman a while ago and he looked like hell. He looked about the same at the White House. On Dave's show it looked like he rolled out of a bar in his t-shirt and they gave him a jacket to wear...seriously he looked bloated and horrible.

I have never watched it before but a party is a party. I need to find someone to root for that is an underdog (kind of like my beloved red sox.)

5. Last time I was at the garage

I was waiting at the counter and started looking around at that ads and posters they had up. There was a Delphi poster with Gordon and three other drivers, what struck me about it was that they all had on baseball caps, shades, and were completely indistinguishable from each other (I knew who Jeff Gordon was).

Amazing. This is not the NASCAR that I know people used to listen to on the radio.
