Need help locating website for downloading virus software for MS |
|
Edited on Fri Feb-17-06 10:01 AM by cantstandbush
Sometime ago there was a virus threat and someone was kind enough to post a code to put on our computers to block it. The code deactivated some other code, I think, (I am not computer literate). There was also give a line of code to re-activate the original code...something to do with dsll or something. Where do I find the website or the code to re-activate the original code?
This was the code we were told to put in to our system; regsvr32 /u shwgvw.dll
I need the code to undo this.
Thanks

2. Just type "regsvr32 shwgvw.dll" to reregister it. |

Must be a proprietary dll. I've never seen that dll. You may need the entire path name to register it. You can search for the dll itself on your pc to find the path.
