It's good to to see the youth are still into the metal. Is it their first recording? Do you get to ruin them for all other future producers?

They came over two weeks ago and we got to know each other. So hopefully this time they won't be so reserved...and nervous.

But they're really nice kids. The drummer is still in the 8th grade and looks like John Denver with red hair and is a total monster on the kit. The other 4 guys are in high school.

The song we're gonna work on tomorrow is called 'Post Apocalyptic'.

1. The weather is going to suck all weekend.
2. The person who I'd like to spend some time with this weekend isn't feeling well (and was going to be out of town anyway).
3. I have the last week of paralegal school stuff to plow through.

However, I DO start a new job on Monday, so life is pretty good overall! Maybe with the downtime this weekend I can clean house and organize a little bit.

16. Partying like it's 1989
Back then I was in college and I'd spend afternoons on a balcony drinking beer and people watching. That's what I'm doing now. Hope the neighbors don't mind hearing the Rhino Anthology Left of the Dial blasting away on the stereo. Last weekend had a fabulous time in the mountains with my wife. Details not available upon request.

No, not those kind of mushrooms:spank: Shiitakes, oysters, etc., the forest mushrooms. Going to be growing them for myself and for resale. Trouble is that the high tomorrow is only going to be sixteen degrees, and about four hours of this seminar are going to be hands on, outside, in the cold.

44. Try not to yawn, okay?
I'm going to the farmhouse tomorrow to start hanging window coverings. Then my daughter and I are going to wander around what's considered our new city. Later, she's visiting her boyfriend (he's at another university) and I'm home to pack. Sunday, I'm working at a friend's antique store to help her out. She was in a terrible wreck before Christmas and has 2 herniated disks, one in her neck and one in her lower back.

Next?
