I bought three new bras today. |
|
And they actually fit! I had to leave town to buy them so that sucked.
Ask me whatever.

I went shopping w/ my daughter and actually found something that fit. I'm shocked right now. I can't find my size in my town and was pleased to find them somewhere today.
I did spend more than I wanted today.:(

the luckier you feel when you find a bra that actually fits. Most stores seem to think that if you have a larger cup you must be very large and overweight and they make them w/ these outrageous band sizes. I'm big cupped and average chest so it's a great find for me.

Even if I lose all the weight and got down to high school level it would still be a DD (and I graduated weighing 102 lbs at the time).
Most women lose weight in their chest, I usually don't. I just needed the bras and found the right size. My old bras have lost their underwires.

I tried to substitute w/ buying a bigger chest band size, hoping there would be more room for a bigger cup. Turns out that doesn't work very well.
I'd like to lose a couple of cups but I won't hold my breath. As long as they don't look like rocks in socks I'll be fine.

I was so afraid to nurse my daughter when she was a newborn. I was afraid that I would smother her.
Got over it real fast and now they are admired by men everywhere, as they should be.

one is a lacy black and one is white w/ pale pink polka dots. The pale pink dots is nice-lots of lace. And the black and white are both the very low plunge type-they push it all up better.

I paid for them and asked the saleswoman if she would keep one out. She laughed and said that it wasn't as uncommon a request as I thought it was. I threw the one that I was wearing away in the first trash can I could find.

I'm 36DDD.
My main problems are 1) You can't find anything over a D cup in my small town. I have to drive about an hour to find something that actually fits. And 2) The money you have to pay. I hate paying out $50 and up for a decent bra that fits and will not fall apart in a month or two!

Found a DD once in a catalog. I love their bras but none of them fit. I'm a 36DDD. Even when I weighed 102 lbs I used to have to shop in plus size shops just for bras. At least larger bras are prettier than they used to be.

Well that's a turn up for the books! Girls and bras - it staggers the imagination what discomfort women will put up with. (OK, OK, I realize tits weren't one of God's greatest inventions.)
Still, check out BitchPHD.com - she has some really good advice about buying bras that fit and are comfortable.
