with windchills far lower than that.

:-)
I remember in January of '94 putting hot coals under the propane tanks because it was so cold the gas qas liquifying. We went almost the entire month with it never getting above zero, and rarely getting above -10. And with the wind chill, we were -30 to -100.
And WI is not even the king of cold - northern MN, and of course alaska, ND... all get fuckin' cold.

7. Just bundle up and take it. |
|
Wear a scarf, hat, maybe a face mask, a coat or two, and gloves. And that worked just fine.
And pray you remembered to shower early enough in the morning that your hair was dry. :-)
Though we had one girl who used to like to come out with wet hair and let it freeze, and then break pieces off.

8. I don't take the extremes well |

I have 'cold induced' asthma and always worry that it will kick in...I'm worse in the HOT weather...I just wilt like a flower
