I'm going to spend time with a photographer this afternoon. He's gonna make me look all artistic and stuff. :D

I got my hair done last week and I've got my outfit all picked out. Got my makeup just right. Can't wait! :D

1. I CANNOT smile in posed pictures.
I just can't. I like it and all, but I just give the fakest goddamn smiles....

:cry::cry:

2. He's not that kind of photographer
luckily. He's into more intense portraiture.

I can do the posed smiley but, like you, I find it incredibly fake. I did one once as an adult and didn't like the results: It looked just like a school picture..... 20 years later. x( x(

I figured I could do better than that. I like his portfolio of portraits; they're not your standard pic. I'm hoping he'll get some of the "real" me in the pic.

5. Nothing....And reveling in my nothingness!
Okay, okay...So I'll plunk away at the piano, and maybe my clarinet....Get a little writing in...But as for something NON-artistic and actually somewhat productive, my radar screens are blank. :D :D :P

Today I'm feeling bohemian....

*twirls around in a circle*

6. That's where skill comes in
I've had a shitload of practice catching smiles in my most recent job, thousands of pictures, and there's a split-second of genuine smile before it looks fake.

Plus, making a person laugh helps a lot too. You just need the right conditions, that's all.
