Is anyone else amused by the "Ginger Snaps" films.

Canadian Werewolf flicks at their best IMHO. I love the subtle humor that seems to seep out from time to time too.

1. I've seen that film and it's sequel posted over and over on

usenet but, not knowing if they are any good, have never risked the bandwidth to download them. You seem to think they are worthwhile so maybe, next time I see them posted, I'll give the first one, at least, a shot.

but they look like they could suck big time so I haven't.

3. The first one is brilliant

and a real favorite of mine. I've only seen the direct sequel ("Ginger Snaps: Unleashed") once and I didn't really think much of it. I did enjoy "Ginger Snaps Back" though and hopefully they'll be an extra laden DVD boxset at some point.

I recommend a film called "May", which is similar in many ways to the first film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0303361/
