I thought it was cool that Jeff Burton got the pole. Maybe RCR is making a comeback? I am going to pull for Mark Martin to win, but I'm not sure how the new Fords will do... Do ya think Chad Knaus' suspension will affect Johnson?

not much of a Gordon fan, but he has become more likeable in the past couple of years. The Gordon/Evernham (sp?) combo got pretty annoying to me. Much like that of Johnson/Knaus is to me today.

is Kasey in a back-up car? I thought I heard he had some problems. I would like to see him do well - just want Mark to get the win :)

I wouldn't mind seeing Bobby Labonte do well either. It will be interesting to see how he does with Petty.

I do know he was taken out today in the Busch race, but of course, that's an entirely different car.

11. yeah - Mark is a good guy

that's why I like him. I'm glad that I get to watch him for another year. I'm not sure how big of a fan of NASCAR I'll be when he retires. I always thought NASCAR was boring until a friend took me to a race in Michigan. I watched Mark race the Busch race, and then the Cup race. Musgrave was his teammate at the time - I didn't understand the whole "teammate" thing, but Musgrave ran out of gas and Mark pushed him to the finish. I thought it was such a nice thing to do, so I picked Mark for my driver. He's impressed me ever since.
