first wet the potato, wrap it in plastic wrap, punch a brazillion holes in them, nuke for 5 minutes
take it out of the plastic wrap, then wrap in aluminum foil and toss it in the oven while rest of dinner is cooking...

FYI, there is not ONE component in plastic wrap that is not toxic, especially when heated.

4. My first-grader's science fair project |

consisted of weighing potatoes before and after microwaving; charting the trend (more cooking = more weight loss) and explaining the weight difference. It was very well received.
