Ask me a question and I will answer in the style of the powers-that-be who run my hometown!

1. I would like a building permit
and I want to build a duel zoned building (commercial/residential) somewhere not zoned for that. Can you make that happen?

2. woah woah woah!
Edited on Sun Feb-19-06 02:14 PM by Radical Activist
First, who sent you? Have you donated to anyone's campaign lately? Are you doing business with my brother's insurance company? If not, why?

This may take several months. I would like statements from your neighbors about what they can see you doing when you leave your blinds open at night before we can consider something like that.

(really who does this OhioBlues broad think she is?) :eyes:

3. I'd like some sidewalks in my neighborhood
can you have the city put some in so I can walk to the bus stop? The closest ones are about 3 miles away.

4. Do you live in a black neighborhood?
Edited on Sun Feb-19-06 02:34 PM by Radical Activist
You must, because those are the only places without good sidewalks. Look, me and my friends don't use public transportation, which is why it only goes by your house once every two hours between the hours of 10am-3pm on weekdays. I don't recognize you from one of my fundraisers, so tough shit for you and your problems!

5. B-b-but I worked the phone banks for you
during your last race, remember? The old lady with frizzy hair, reading glasses and support stockings?

6. What are the chances we could get a bus route on the main street in my
neighborhood? Walking three miles to the grocery store in the rain next to 50 mph traffic blows and a bus could get me there in less than ten minutes instead of the nearly an hour it takes with the rugrat and groceries.

7. No one in my suburb or office takes the bus
Therefore it must not be important. We should probably discontinue service soon and increase fares in the mean time. People who don't have cars don't have enough money to make campaign contributions or do business with companies owned by my friends, so I don't really care.

9. Any other questions? Take the opportunity now
because we don't like to answer to the average person too often. This is a once in a decade kind of thing.

11. You must not be a reporter because
the reporters in my town know not to ask those kind of questions. The editors and publishers are all good friends of mine. Now I'm going to ignore you and expect the problem to go away.
