Best movie version - Of Mice and Men
I made a smart ass post in the favorite uplifting movie thread but I got to thinking about the best movie adaptation of the Steinbeck classic.

1939 with Lon Chaney Jr. and Burgess Meredith
1981 with Randy Quaid and Robert Blake
1992 with John Malkovich and Gary Sinise

1. I only saw the 1992 version
so I can't say which was the best
