Remind me to never ever watch Discovery Health again, okay? |
|
While I was making lunch, I watched a show about this little boy named Novemthri and the surgery to sculpt a normal face for him out of tumors. Over the course of the show he nearly dies a few times, but finally he has a somewhat normal face and it sent home to his village. His mother cries, the other children will play with him, life is good. I cry.
Show's over right? Nope, there's a little epologue saying that he died of respritory complications. No warning. One minute, smiling family, the next white text on black screen and a dead boy.
I can't handle this shit. Maybe I shouldn't pursue a medical career like I've though about. I'm too fucking sensitive.

2. Aww, how sad, was just watching that |
|
but I've seen it before and I didn't see the epilogue. It must have been fairly recent. Noventhree was really cute. I felt so sad for him.
I feel for you leftymom.
I'm often moved to watch these things about sick little kids because I was one.
