Poll question: Do you still have a home phone- a poll.
I just dropped my land line for the house. I was paying 19.95 a month for a phone in my home. I don't need it with a cell phone.

2. Have both...
...thinking about ditching the landline though. Although it's good to have dial-up in case of cable problems. So we're still thinking about it.

3. I have a land line home phone, but no long distance service on it

My cell phone plan is a nation-wide plan, and it costs me less to call family and friends via cell than it was on the land line.

8. Same here. We haven't had long distance service for years.
Used a Sam's Club calling card until we got the cell phones.

5. home phone is Vonage though
makes it easy for those at home in Tx to call me, it's a local area code for them. 25 bucks for unlimited local and long distance is too good to pass up.

My alarm system is wired into the phone line so I have to keep it.
