I'm glad there's alot of interest in Curling because of the winter Olympics; since I've been up here I've really fallen in love with the roaring game and become a convert..

I didn't see any of it during the last Winter Olympics so I could never figure out what the hype was about. Yesterday Mr. RubyDuby and I watched it to see what the hubbub was about and even though we started out joking like crazy about it, he had to leave halfway through to go to work and called me every 15 minutes to get updates. The funny thing was by the end I was trash talking the Great Brits and telling dear hubby what they were doing wrong. I by no means have it all figured out, but I was pissed that I missed the first matchup this morning between the US and Canada! Damn work! Anyways, the rematch is Wednesday night at 7pm and we'll be parked on the couch for this one. I'm thinking of getting a cowbell to make it more real....... :)

I've heard of curling, and have finally decided that the people holding the mops are not janitorial staff, but rather are the actual athletes.
