all 14 of them
Baby bottle nipples that is. Not MY nipples that would require some rather inventive rope and pulley system and I'm here all alone, 'cepting for the baby and what not.
So the question IS: Do I need to wash the pot I used to boil the water in that the nipples were dropped into? NOTE- I washed the nipples in the dishwasher* before I boiled them--to further confuse the issue.
* saying that "I washed the nipples in the dishwasher..." means I ran the dishwasher with them in the dishwasher I did not get INTO the dishwasher and wash them myself. To clarify.

1. Washing them in the dishwasher should have been enough... |

You're going overboard. Are you a first time father? Duckie

5. Oh oh oh Don't you be telling ME how to raise MY BABY!!!! |
|
I don't think so
This was per the past practices of the mother of said babies. Just following precedent here.

Chill, sweetie. But I stand by my original statement. Overkill. You might rinse them in hot water after the dishwasher just to make sure all the residue is gone, but boil? Overkill. Duckie

3. I never washed nipples. Pediatrician told me when my son was |
|
born that it wasn't necessary what with all the crap he'd be putting into his mouth.
When my daughter was born I just ran them through the dishwasher with no soap after I washed them.
If the water was boiling, I don't see why you would need to wash it. :hi:

9. One of my nipples had a huge tear in it, this morning. |
|
I had to toss it. I'd wash the pot, just because I'm anal like that.
