Give me the water back! City keeps turning the water off....
Dammit dammit dammit! This is the third time in 6 days that the city has had the water off to our block. There's a break in the main and they keep futzing with it. Either fix the damn thing or let it fucking leak, but stop turning the water on and off.

I know it's cold. I know the pipes in this part of town are old. They could have fixed them, though. Back a year and a half ago when they made that deal to increase tax revenue....

This happens every damn winter, and they don't do a thing about it except fix the leak when the pipe breaks. That's got to be more expensive in the long run than just replacing the pipes....

But then, that's the logical thing to do, and sometimes it seems that government at all levels are somewhat short on logic!
