Come clean about your old fashion foibles here.
Here's mine...

Somewhere, in the cosmos, there is Kodachromatic evidence of...

-kmla wearing platform shoes. Paired with a burnt orange leisure suit.
-kmla with a mullet.
-kmla wearing a pastel jacket, sleeves bunched up (a la MTV VJ Alan Hunter)
-kmla wearing acid wash jeans. With a pastel overprint.

Anything haunt you about your fashion past?

You'll get extra points for photographic evidence...

1. There's a pic of me in some really great moon boots out there

circa 1986 or so. It gets extra bonus points for goofiness since taken in Sacramento in late spring so it was probably at least 85 degrees out that day.

4. I think I have one of those, too.
Occured somewhere around 5th grade, if I recall.

3. Skin-tight designer jeans.
Gloria Vanderbilt's, I believe...there's also a photo of me in a 80's-era drill team uniform.

Too bad - there's no evidence of my fashion diva/goth years, before my college/grunge era. Well, except for a few hazy photos, questionable in content, that can't be posted here. ;)

10. I wore Toughskins as a youth
you know, with the reinforced knees? I was a size, um, "husky" too.

I never owned nor used a Bedazzler, though.

11. This is bad:
Two weeks ago I was feeling like crap and I had to go to the bank which is 2 blocks away. I decided to risk going out in the clothes I was wearing.

I was wearing Hawaiian print pants, a yellow t-shirt, a gray, green, and blue flannel, and doc martins.

Of course I go to the ATM machine and there's the hot guy from the fabric store who I am always scared to talk to and I open my mouth and say hi, thereby drawing attention to myself.

I wanted to sink into a hole and die.
