3. Thanks will...I was looking it up every day waiting for it to go into
foreclosure, because they wouldn't accept our offer...

...It was the perfect house for us. I can't believe I feel so sick about it.  :loveya:

to feel sick about it.
It's something that you wanted really badly and when it doesn't go our way, we as humans, get upset, frustrated, angry, disappointed, sad.....
It's only natural to feel that way.
I would feel the same way.

It's going to take some time for it to sink in that you're not going to get the house.

But I always believe that things happen for a reason. Good and bad.

After it sinks in and you're up and ready to search again, you really will find the perfect house and everything will work out the way it's suppose to work out.

I am leaving work shortly but you know my PM box is always open to you.

Feel free to PM me if you need to vent or cry or laugh or let out a big

FUUUUCCCCKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I feel like a big goofy baby for crying when I saw that. I thought it was going to be impossible for anyone to buy it and that we would get the chance in foreclosure. :loveya: Drive home safely!

I'm the big goofy dork. I can't get my smilies to work! :P

Hey, they worked this time but they didn't work in my last post to you in this thread. Odd.
I think the smilies were upset that you didn't get the house either. :(

Screw them.

Go decorate your breadmaker with Christmas tree lights, put on your slippers, and go cuddle with that super cute husband!

10. I lost a much better house before I bought this place, too...
I still wish I had been able to buy that place...so much nicer than mine, and cheaper.

Oh well...we suck it up and move on, right? It's hard sometimes, though.

I can't imagine the depth of disappointment you must be feeling.

Give yourself time to grieve - rant, scream, whatever - we can take it.

15. OK, serious reply.
(remember, I am a religion major)

I personally think that you are going to find one that is more perfect, with everything you wanted and more--- and that you will look back on losing that particular house as one of the best things that ever happened to you.

Sometimes when the greatest things happen, we can't see them for awhile.

23. I hope so. I'm one of those big idiot people who say, "Don't get all
excited, self" and then I go and get all excited. This happened with this crappy house that I loved when we moved in...that I loved up until I saw that damned contingency listing in fact. shame on me.

Your words mean a lot.

28. Oh, I know....it hurts to start mentally decorating something, and making
memories that are years down the road--- kinda like being young, and meeting the hot young stupid man that lies and says he loves you...so you start looking at Bride's magazine---

So all you have to do is look at your adorable children, your great breadmaker, and the second hottest husband on DU...and think what you COULD have had--

;)

Besides, now you have lots of room in your head to really start fantasizing a house! Woooo HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I watched in amazement this weekend at how fast one of our former houses went on and off the market. I can't imagine buying a house in this particular city in this housing market.

Hope the next one is the right one, and someday you'll look back in wonder and amazement that you ever thought that *this* one was the right one.

38. Lost a house once and I cried like a baby.
Two years later we ran into a guy who had bought the home. He was a very unhappy camper. Turns out it was a lemon complete with termites, etc. It would have eaten us alive. God answered our prayer. His answer was NO. Best thing ever. True story.
