Tidbit of knowledge about "A Christmas Story"
Edited on Tue Feb-21-06 04:13 AM by JVS
The music that is played when Ralphie's mother is informed that he has said the F--- word is from Wagner's Tristan and Isolde.

To listen to the music go here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/samples/B000A2ES88/ref=dp_tracks_all_1/103-4054491-9518232?%5Fencoding=UTF8#disc_1 and click on the track 8 sample of disc 1

Does anyone have some info to share?

1. I met "Flick"
at a college football game. He went to the same university that I did, only a year or two ahead of me.

Small world. Great movie. :-)
