For me it has to be baseball players, there's just something about the uniform and those tight pants that really turn me on. I don't know what it is but even in high school and college the guys that I most often had a crush on were the baseball players...I just love em!

Baseball players look the best of all the major sport pros. Football players are too big and not at all attractive. Basketball players are too tall. Hockey players are missing too many teeth.
As Goldilocks would say, "Baseball players are just right."

I also like the rare quality of a woman who will enjoy hiking with me, and women who take the time to do something to protect the environment usually have a better set of priorities and values than most of the shallow, materialistic women I meet. Plus, they're usually in pretty good shape from all the hiking and backpacking too. :)

50. On the same note
by dad said he only warmed up to the Susan character on Seinfeld (George's doomed fiancee) when she got a shorter haircut and her role on show shifted to be more domestic heavy relationship-y

I never cared for the part at all personally but that kind of surprised me. Of course my Dad dislikes long hair in general on girls so I guess it shouldn't be a huge shock

One day I know I'm gonna introduce a gf to them stupid enough to take my parent's advice about getting a shorter hairstyle. Right now they're preoccupied trying to convince any girl I bring home that "maybe the nose ring is a bit over the top, no?"

:)

In fantasy life I have a thing for rich older women, ones that either don't have kids or where the kids have grown up. Ones that just want physical pleasure. There was mutual attraction between me and one of my parents friends but we were never unattached at the same time so we never acted on it, which is something I'll always regret a little bit.

I love 'em, love 'em, love 'em. Last three guys I dated were diamonds in the rough, just need an older woman (yeah I'm like 26 and they're like 21) to show them the ways of the world, to give them confidence. I like them extremely intelligent (for some reasons I'm attracted to guys in the "hard" sciences (no pun intended, perverts!), since their knowledge nicely complements my social sciences grad schooling)so I don't get bored with them. I like them naturally beautiful and sexy, but in need of a sharp eye to help them dress and do their hair. I'm now with a feisty redhead French-Irish engineering student.

140. Well, my group is less real and more fantasy
I guess. Being a child of the 60s, I grew up with TV spies and detectives. I guess I could say the modern day equivalent are the CSI scientists to some extent--blending intelligence with an "aw shucks" attitude, which is cool.

The group I least enjoy, I think, are yuppies. Fortunately for me, most yuppies (those of the bad/selfish/"me first" attitudes) are repukes and therefore I would never be attracted to them in the first place.

143. Bass players.
For some reason, an inordinate percentage of women I flirt with turn out to be bass players, and I have no idea why that is. It's not like I look at female bass players in rock bands and start swooning or anything, it's just some kind of bizarre coincidence.

169. It's all about the brain! But I must confess, there are some "types"
Edited on Fri Feb-24-06 12:51 AM by AlienGirl
Large slightly-crazy, highly competent, middle-aged social-worker-type women. Quiet beautiful geek-guys with low self-esteem. Dark guys with really intense eyebrows. Guys who remind me of Frohike from the Lone Gunmen. SCA women.

And especially kind of nebbishy-looking bureaucratic-y high-strung bad guys with potbellies, slightly receding hairlines, and high IQs. Like this (my 8th grade crush): And like Xen. Don't ask.

You don't have to be brilliant, but you should have common sense.

I'll be meeting someone named Petya from my dad's work at the end of March. I know she has the intelligence factor. Maybe we'll be a fit.
