My own "While You Were Out"... |
|
So, I contracted with some local firemen, who do fence repair on their off-days, for replacement of my fence. They had told me that they would start today or tomorrow. Today was drizzly, and chilly, so I didn't figure they would start. I had to run to my parents' house after work, so I just now got home. Imagine my surprise when I came home to no fence. Apparently they DID get started, and have taken down the old fence, and set the new posts. They'll finish up tomorrow! :bounce:

2. Wooden posts, vinyl, or galvanized? |
|
Stockade, split rail, ranch/corral style, wire, or chain-link? How much of an area are you fencing off? Just marking a property line, or keeping someone OUT (or something IN)?

3. Cedar pickets, on treated pine posts and rails. |

I'm just replacing the old fence that marked the property line between my house and the house in back, and the front fence that separates the front yard from the back, with gate. It's about 42 feet across the back, 12 feet across the front. The side fences have been replaced fairly recently, and they're in good shape.
