I'd love to own a talking bird, but they are SO expensive! You're going to have your hands full, my dear. :hug:

95. I'm not looking forward to it!
Paulie was with us for a few weeks in the past. Unfortunately he encourages the rest of the flock into rowdy-time noise far too frequently.

*warning* The cost of buying a parrot is only the beginning. A good cage that is perfect for the bird's needs is often very expensive. I feed her organic foods as much as possible. Birds are far more sensitive to toxins in everything than humans.

62. Morning Clint! Mornin' All
Sounds like you're going to have some nice weather down there Clint. Here it's 24 with windchill of 12, so that's quite balmy for Wisconsin in February.

I too can't believe that February's almost over with. Must have been working to hard this month again!

Nothing special planned at work, same old same old, which for a change is nice!

:hi::hug:
BRRRR! 24 degrees! Good gods! :scared: I've dealt with that kind of temperature in the past...no longer!

Good to see you today, my dear!

66. Well Clint . . .
After the weekend temps, this truly does feel warm. Only in Wisconsin can it be truly cold, and we call it "brisk", "refreshing", "invigorating"!

73. Good Morning, Miss Airmens!
:hi::hug:
It was rainy yesterday, so no pictures yet. Today it's supposed to be sunny and 80, so I'm going over to the dealership, then to wash my car, and then...pictures! :woohoo:

It's good to see you, my dear!

76. Good to see you, too.
:hug: The kitties woke me up early this morning. One of them purred loudly in my ear, one of them just cried, one of them yelled and walked across my back, and the other one decided to give my face a bath. Try sleeping through all that!

Oh, boy! I'm glad you're going to have a nice day today! :bounce: What do you need to do at the dealership?

Guess what? Our St. Joseph statue came yesterday. So we did the proper ceremony and buried him in the front garden. And we did more tricks to make the house look bigger. Maybe today will be a better day.

:rofl:
I know I couldn't have slept through all that!

I want to go look at accessories for my car, and I found a small scratch on the top of the bumper that they are going to touch up for me, and I'm hoping the pinstripe guy is going to be there so I can have THAT done too! They're going to strip it for me for free! :woohoo:

Now that Joseph is in the ground, your house will sell! Get ready my dear!

Now they're ignoring me. :shrug: Cats ...

Ooh, accessories shopping! How fun! Have them give you a tube of touch-up paint so you can do your own scratches. We found that they'll give it to you if you ask, but they don't offer it. You're gonna get a pinstripe? Fancy! :woohoo:

Yes, I'm getting ready. We took more stuff off the walls yesterday and packed some things up and put them in the attic. I may do more of that today. At least it feels good DOING something instead of just nervously waiting around. :D

89. Yes, it's going to be a lot of fun actually!
The salesman who helped me, called yesterday to see how I was doing and how the car was! I thought that was SO nice of him! And yes, the pinstripe is going to be great!

I hate nervously waiting around. x( I'm sure it DOES feel good to be doing something instead.

94. What color pinstripe?
:bounce: For that matter ... what color is your car? Same as the pic? Our salesperson called after we bought our car, too. She was really nice. And we still love the car 14 months later. :)

We called the moving company yesterday to see if we could buy some used boxes (for packing up some books). The guy thought it was a shame for us to have to pay for boxes since we're really moving and could get them for free if we were "on the books". So he's coming over tomorrow to drop off some boxes and do an estimate. We haven't even committed to his company! But it's Allied ... they're good, aren't they? I've had Mayflower and Bekins. Seeing my coffee table legs roll off the back of the Bekins truck didn't exactly inspire confidence, although the crew that packed us up in NY were great. Now we have my mom's baby grand piano, so I'm REALLY nervous about getting a good mover this time.

97. I get to choose the pinstripe color...
I haven't decided yet WHAT color to get. Yes, my car is the same as the picture I posted just before and right after I got it! Bright yellow! Since the inside is charcoal, I'm thinking a charcoal pinstripe.

Allied has been around for a long time...I've never used them, but they are good so far as I know!

i'm going to have to get off here in a minute to get cleaned up so I can get this stuff started.

how's that for a cheap costume?
