Poll question: What does this mean? |
|
"Let me know, I would like to make the offer by the end of February."
There are 2 candidates for a job. The 3rd and final interview needs to be scheduled. There are 2 available times for the interview. One in February, one in March.
The ED contacts Candidate 1 and asks her which time she's available.
Tho she'd like to interview sooner, the February date is very difficult for her, so she chooses March. The ED pushes her to reconsider and take the February date, saying, "Let me know, I would like to make the offer by the end of February."
She takes the February date.
Does this mean anything?

3. It means I'm pregnant. |
|
:P
Personally, I don't think it necessarily means anything other than that the guy wants to get all the interviewing done quickly so he can get a worker dude in the place as soon as possible.
But I *hope* that it means he thinks you are the strongest, best candidate!

every time a girl bats her eyes at me :)
I don't think it means anything beyond you made the obvious move of taking the Feb interview as opposed to bucking the grain (mixed metaphor?) and holding out for March

...the interview process has gone on so long, and I want the job so much, I'm just inventing news.
