How Did A Freeper get my cell phone number? |
|
Edited on Thu Feb-23-06 10:01 PM by Liberalynn

It just rang and some guy I am certain I don't even know because I didn't recognize the voice and they weren't trying to disguise it, started ranting at me. The number said restricted. So after I say hello he starts yelling at me that I am a stupid Fng HO and some other words I won't repeat, and I know shit about shit, so why don't I just go ahead shut my fng trap.
Obviously a wrong number but I wanted to ask George is that you?
It brought to mind his level of maturity and intelligence, and debating style.
But in the end I just hung up.

It's funny, but it's a little scary too.

3. I was a little bit freaked out by it |
|
but only a couple of my cousins, a few of my doctors, and my sister have my cell number, and it wasn't any of them. So the only reason I am passing it off, is I am fairly certain it had to be a wrong number.
Since I am on disability for Anxiety I pretty much stay at home, and stay to myself, and pretty much only chat about my political views on line, and I have never given out my cell anywhere on line, even on shopping sites, so it almost has to be a wrong number.
Unless there is someway that some freeper was able to trace my identity and cell from my posts on line.

7. There may be a way to get that info, but my bet is on a wrong |
|
number. Maybe this fruitcake just started randomly dialing numbers, and spews out the same garbage to whoever answers the phone.
If it happens again, I would report it to the police. They may not be able to do anything unless it gets worse, but at least you will have a report on paper if need be.

I was thinking about reporting it to the cell company too, if who ever it is calls back. Not sure if there is anything they can do either, but at least they would be aware of it too.
I'm thinking you could be right too about who ever he is calling people at random. If that's the case we have come a long way from the innocent old days of prank calls where someone would ask "is your refrigerator running? cause if it is you better go catch it."

doesn't like my jokes at his expense. Personally I think they are mild and lame. I'm not exactly a gifted commedian.
In all seriousness I would hate to be the person that call was actually meant for as I am pretty convinced it had to be a wrong number.
I also think they would have called back if I was really the person they meant to call and they haven't so I'm guessing they just dialed wrong, or are calling numbers at random as a prank.

he just hates when someone tries to use a little humor and logic against him. He's pretty much defenseless in both areas. ;):spank:
