... it takes away the perspective and hides the fact that they are standing slightly IN FRONT of the net. Freeze frame it, and you'll see that she's CLEARLY in front of the hoop (and net) and even the position of her legs and arms would not fit through it.
The swoosh of the net is caused by her hand as she reaches out and touches it when she passes by.
Cool effect though. Despite the bad acting from her accomplices, it's fun to watch.
