" You were just too good for me " - so why end a good thing ? |
|
" You were just too good for me " - that is what my former boyfriend told me . Why is it so easy for people to accept trash in this world and throw away the good things . I am so tired of being tossed away because I have a good heart . Damn . No I am not coping well at all ...

I've heard that line before too. I think in part what it may mean is that that person doesn't want to be held to a standard-even if you have no intention of doing so.
I remember once I was told by someone that I would probably have a difficult time finding someone good enough for me. As it turns out, they were right, and now that I have I see that I kept trying to lower my standards in finding someone, rather than raising them. Once I stopped that, things started to change.

4. That is so rarey an honest reason for a breakup. |
|
I'm very sorry. I know this sucks.
Usually, an excuse like that means that it was just a different type of relationship than what he wanted.
