Why is it whenever I go read GD I feel like this:

I remember getting into a rather heated argument not long after the elections about how red-staters were losers and that it was everyone in the state's fault that they went red in the first place.

Imagine being a red-stater posting in that thread! I posted the truth-there was not enough coverage or campaigning in my state. I was flamed for that one by people who had never stepped foot in MO!


BTW-that thread was my offical welcome to DU. It was deleted that same night.

19. I used to have some really good conversations in GD

late at night. But there are times in GD that I feel like I need to take a bath w/ boiling water and bleach.

GD is like that really high strung cousin that you try to avoid. Occasionally you have a great visit and start to rethink your opinion of them. You make an appointment for a lunch date and then all hell breaks loose, comfirming your original opinion.
