The OP said he wasn't going to fly the American flag anymore, and I suggested he fly it upside down as a distress signal. Then another poster noticed my sig line on that board — "One nation, under surveillance" — and asked me what I had to hide and why I think America is in distress. This was my response:
"To hide? Nothing, because I live in America. But, to hide from? That depends on what one believes, I suppose. I'm a liberal activist, and in this political climate that makes me a "traitor" in the eyes of many. At the very least, I'm a frequent contributor to political forums that are quite likely monitored by the FBI. (We know for a fact they're monitored by right-wing commentators who take snippets and use them to show how "evil" liberals are.)
"We're in distress because the President of the United States, who swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States, is not doing that, and in fact apparently considers it "a goddamned piece of paper."
"We're in distress because the validity of one of the most basic rights we have in our so-called democracy — voting — is in serious question.
"We're in distress because five years ago we were the icon of the free world — a status we'd enjoyed for decades — and now we're its pariah.
"We're in distress because our government, whose role it is to work for all citizens, has virtually turned its back on the common man.
"Shall I go on?"
And then I got this:
"I don't blame you. I'm as ashamed of the American flag as you are. At one time our flag stood for freedom bravery, honor, morality, opportunity and a fierce determination to stand up against oppression from any and all outside enemies. That has all changed since the cancer some call "liberalism" or "progressive thought", (as though thought and liberalism being mortal enemies, can actually coexist) emerged. Liberal scum have the exact same objective as islamic terrorists which is to completely and totally destroy America. The only difference between the two is that islamic nuts after having destroyed America, want to rebuild it into the image of a psycho "religion" with allah as the cornerstone that everyone must refer to as god. Liberal nuts after having totally destroyed America ,want to rebuild it in their own image with homosexuality and abortion as their "religion" and banning of the word god in any form.
"You rail about the FBI and again I agree. If the FBI was truly trying to protect America, you and those like you would now be in the cages of Guantanamo with others who share your objectives. You also dare speak about the Constitution when it's slime like you who use it for toilet paper. First amendment rights do not extend into the right to murder babies by saline nor does it give you and other traitors like you the right to openly abet those who are our enemies and call it "free speech". Once the world shook in terror as the German army marched through and occupied Europe like a hot knife through butter. France was occupied in less than a week and England was being bombed night and day by the Luftwaffe while the "great" American liberal president Franklin Roosevelt sat on his dead, useless ass and ignored Winston Churchills pleas for assistance. Harry Truman who was not liberal and one our great presidents fought and won the war that Roosevent tried so desperately to ignore.
"Today France remains a bastard, useless nation with the highest ratio of muslim emigrants in all of Europe with over 30% or the entire country calling themselves islamic. No wonder France has no soul. It has no identity and no economy. It is the most liberal of any European Country and it has the highest unemployment and inflation rate of any "major" European country and why? Unfettered liberal emigration policies which has flooded them with unemployable, hate filled terrorist murderers in waiting. It's nothing more than a useless clump of dirt sitting between Belgium and Spain. The once mighty Germany is equally impotent and while once the world shook in terror at their name, the world now laughs at their cowardliness. Throughout Germany beer halls are filled with old men drinking themselves into oblivion while talking about the Fatherland and trying to convince each other that Germany is somehow, someway still a world power while young men sit around "metrosexual" bars talking about which sex they prefer as a partner The Bundesrat is filled with secular liberal cowards who kiss the collective asses of any country who even make the vaguest of threats. England who stood alone against Hitler has long since surrendered her soul and is struggling mightly to retain any of her majestic past identity which is rapidly slipping away because of liberal jackals and the myth of "political correctness.". Tony Blair is a good man but the House of Commons is nothing more than a parade ground for new age prissy, secular liberal swine who are more concerned about "political correctness" than the survival of their country.
"This is what liberal pond scum in the United States want. No identity, no soul, no spirit, no purpose, no morality, no means of defending ourselves and no objectives beyond expanding abortion, punishing the victims of crime rather than the criminals who committed the crime, propagating homosexuality as a really great idea, punishing traditional families and begging our enemies who first attacked us to also forgive us for offending them by our existance. Of course these same pit vipers also want to rid the world of Israel so that the Palestinians will have what used to be Israel as their own country and then they would really like us. Following that, the rest of the muslim world, (who wouldn't take a palestinian family into their own country if their collective lives depended on it because they consider them to be murderous sewer rats) would then also really like us because of our outpouring of compassion for islam. Naturally items also high on the "liberal agenda" would be to ban the smoking of anything other than marajuana, the banning of guns, SUV's, the word God, Christmas, Easter, Christians, Jews and Fox News. I love the liberal mantra, "support peaceful protests or we'll kill you".
"My final agreement with you is that I also don't care for Bush as a president. He is far, far too liberal for my taste. He tosses about conservative sounding ideations but beyond two Supreme Count appointments has done absolutely nothing that doesn't smack of liberalism. Now if anything that I have said offends you or anyone else who reads my post, you can collectively kiss my German/American ass. Trust me when I say that I find any such clump of pond scum several thousand more times hateful and simply disgusting than you think you find me.
