Oops wrong forum.. Mods, can you move this please...
So far I've tried it on homemade cheese pizza, burritos and hot dogs. It's orgasmically delicious. Simple too.
1/2 Red onion 1/2 Red Bell Pepper, deveined and seeded 2 or 3 chipotle peppers (canned in the Mexican food section) 1 tbsp sugar chili oil to taste olive oil kosher salt and pepper
Dice the onion fine. Roast the red pepper on the stove burner for a few minutes until it has some black spots on both sides, dice it up. Mince the chipotles. Add ever thing to a bowl and add the oils, sugar and S&P to taste. I like to use lots of salt to keep it fresh. Let it sit for an hour or so. Done!
I know it doesn't sound like much, but dayum it's good! It seems really versatile too.. I'm going to try it on some eggs tomorrow morning.

1. Sounds good. I bought a beautiful red bell pepper today |
|
to use half in a Cuban soup recipe. I'll get chili oil, chipotles, and a red onion on my next trip to the store, and try your salsa!

2. You'll love chili oil if you've never had it before |
|
It's a cooking staple that not many people know about.

.....I don't like the really hot stuff - maybe mild to medium. Sounds yummy though!!!! :7
