1. Yummy!
I love cinnamon. We add it to our ground coffee in the percolator every day. It's supposed to be good for the heart and blood, I think. It's a great spice.

:hi: tigereye!

6. What are cinnamon chips made of?
I presume it's not just straight cinnamon - given the size of the lumps that would be somewhat over-powering.

It's good to see that he's looking after you.

18. ok, here it is
Cinnamon Chip Scones

Ingredients

2 c all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda, sieved
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar, plus additional for dusting
1 stick butter
1 c cinnamon chips
1 egg, separated
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 c buttermilk

Directions

Combine the flour, baking powder and soda, salt and sugar. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in the cinnamon chips. Combine the egg yolk, the vanilla and the buttermilk; stir this into the dry ingredients until just combined. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 6-10 turns. Divide the dough in half and pat each half into a 6-7 inch circle. Cute each circle into 6 wedges. Brush each circle with lightly beaten egg white, dust with sugar and transfer the wedges to an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 18-22 minutes, until golden brown. Cool ona wire rack, after 5 min. cover loosely with a dish towel until completely cool.

22. In the Kuhns that used to be a ShopnSave at
N. Hills Village Mall.

I looked for them in the GE, no luck. An upscale crocery was going to be my next try.

29. West View
I haven't been in a new Kuhn's yet. I didn't know they bought any S-n-S until last weekend. My older kid likes the playrooms at GE, so I usually shop there.
