4. Well, it IS!

Don't duck and hide! It is a jewel. Little Las Vegas...behind Las Vegas, Mississippi has surpassed even Atlantic City to become second in casino action in the US.

And Beach Boulevard is (was) an awesome fun place to hang out on Saturdays. Lots of people riding up and down the drag.

You can even ride the main drag in the Lucky Duck, which is wicked fun--one minute, you're cruising down Beach Boulevard, and the next you're floating around the Gulf barrier islands.



MMjr. and I used to get away for a weekend now and then before Katrina--and we spent at least 5 or 6 weekends a year in Biloxi. It sucks that it is no more. :cry:

A few casinos are open, but all of the small, tacky establishments like the Sharkhead are gone.

That's what we enjoyed doing the most...driving the drag, stopping at kitschy gift shops and looking at everything from coconut purses to hermit crabs.
