1. Barney gives the Governor a ticket

Barney hands out a parking ticket to a car parked illegally, unaware that the car belongs to the governor. The governor hears about it, and instead of chewing Barney out, commends him and wants to come down to Mayberry to shake his hand. After being told by Sheriff Taylor that the governor is coming down to talk to him, Barney gets upset, and while complaining to Otis about how unfair it is, Barney ends up stumbling drunk (after drinking the water that Otis spiked)

One of my all-time favorite bits was when he was trying to get the directions of the still from Otis while he was supposed to be asleep.

"A little sloooower pleeaasse....." LOL

He asks Gomer how he's doing in the backseat. Gomer is carsick and says something like, "I'm sicker'na dog and having the time of my life." Great stuff.
