Paula Deen's cooking with Velveeta!!
Edited on Sun Feb-26-06 10:54 AM by supernova
:D

She didn't say Velveeta™ of course; she called it a "soft cheese product!"

She's making a broccoli and cheese casserole. I found it funny she would say "soft cheese prodcut." :D

3. She's on Food TV
She has her own show and is only slightly less ubiquitous than Rachel Ray. And far less annoying.

Kerbey's is good stuff. Their pancakes are to die for, and their queso is the stuff of legend. You can buy some to take home as well. :9

Thirty-eleven is my new favorite phrase...

26. American cheese will usually melt down mixed w/ milk or water
Either get a double boiler or proceed more carefully in a normal pan. Shred the cheese ahead of time if you are using a non sliced loaf or chunk all though using otherwise small pieces could work too. Using half as much milk as cheese should work but add more milk if it isn't melting nicely. Stir often. If you are adding other ingredients, don't do that until the cheese is melted and mixed. Don't leave it on the heat too long with the other ingredients either.
I don't know if microwaving works.

18. Paula Deen is a soft cheese product.
I mean that in a nice way, of course. The cheesy bits are the best parts of her shows. ;)

24. Aren't you sweet!
I am feeling better thanks. I honestly can't sing the praises of Airborne enough. Stuff works like magic. Colds usually knock me out forever, end in bronchitis, really bad URIs. Not anymore. It may also be one of the added benefits of quitting smoking- which I did in November. Whatever, I am thrilled to have health! :bounce:

P.S. Perhaps it was good DU vibes that put the kibosh on my cold?
