My broccoli is shredding
I just love food processors!

Especially as I can't hold a knife without slipping anymore. x(

You known freepers are always abusing the broccoli.
:hi:

Do you have a mini-processor? They are great for the small-scale mincing and and blending tasks.

2. Well, I'm known to eat 2 pounds of broccoli (and cauliflower) as a meal...
:9

So the bigger ones come in handy. :D

4. Ya luv those brassicas, eh?
The mini processor is good for making sauces or mirepoix, stuff like that. It would take a lot of batches to shred even an average person's idea of one serving of broccoli.

I could eat two pounds of broccoli in one sitting too. Have you ever made pureed cauliflower? Cook the cauliflower and while still hot blend it in the food processor, adding some milk or butter or olive oil to taste. Season with salt and pepper and it's ready to go. It's a good mashed potato-like item and good with broiled fish or meat entrees.
