2. Get some clove oil and apply topically to

the gum directly over or under the tooth.

Or if their is a Dental School nearby see if they accept emergency patients. I had to do that once and it was a really good experience, cost 30% of what an oral surgeon would have charged, but took a lot longer to complete all the steps as the grad students required supervision.

There is no worse pain than pain above the neck IMHO.

3. Oh. God. Memories

Slam it with ibuprofin. At least 6 at once. Piggyback it with Tylenol. And the old ice trick on the face can help.

Nothing hot or cold...just lukewarm.

Did they give you antibiotics?

If you have to take codeine watch out for nausea and also constipation.

5. I am on my 2nd round of antibiotics

I have vicodin, also use anti inflammatory stuff and try to lie on something cold. I can't drive like this so I couldn't go to work which means I am not making money to pay for this. Arg.

Good friend just picked up my dog and took him for a long walk in the woods, he has also shared pain meds with me.

I couldn't sit thru students.

This will be over by 9:15 on Friday.
